Staying at Work

My day is going to consist of being exactly where I am at right now which is in my office on my computer. I have a bunch of things I want to get done today and all of them are online related. First and most obviously is writing this which is something I have put off for way too long. I am the kind of guy that will say he is going to do something (like write this) but then never gets around to doing it. I guess you could say I’m a procrastinator at heart and if you did you wouldn’t be wrong. I am just easily distracted and my mind wanders all the time so it is hard to focus on one thing. I am buckled down today though and am determined to get everything done on my list. Yes I made a list of things to do and plan on crossing things off as I go. I figure that is the best way to make sure I get everything done otherwise I’ll venture off and find myself watching TV in a few hours with no plan to come back in here.

After I’m done writing this (and I’m like halfway there) I need to get set up with a VPN service. I would just feel safer using one especially nowadays when people’s identity are getting stolen left and right. The one I want to use is privateinternetaccess which I have heard good things about. My friend Adam uses them and he said they are solid. He’s the one that got me interested in them in the first place. I also want to take a long hard look at my monthly budget and hopefully make some changes. I would like to be saving more money each month if at all possible.

I’ll probably break for a quick snack after that then I’m hopping back on the wagon and am going to do my taxes. I do them by myself because they are pretty straight forward. I’m single and rent so yeah. I have my 401k and savings account along with a Roth IRA but those things aren’t a big deal. When I’m done with that I want to file them and then probably take another break. Last but not least I want to do some shopping for a few things that I am in desperate need of none of which are all that exciting and don’t warrant mention here.
